Talent Development Celebrates Black History Month

HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH

In 1968, the Talent Development Program was founded as a result of the assassination of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King lived his life dedicated to the people while being unapologetically committed towards the fight towards social justice.

It is because of Dr. King, his comrades and those who paved the way before them, that we have been afforded the ability to provide access to Talent Development Scholars during the last 50 years. Their vision and strength provided us the pathway and their legacy continues to be a beacon of light for another 50 years opportunity, family and community.

“Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education.” -Dr. King
