Biography

Paula is a Professor of stage and theatre management at the University of Rhode Island with great passion for musical theatre. AT URI, Paula has production managed more than 60 productions since 1985 and she has choreographed ColeAnne of Green GablesThe Mystery of Edwin DroodHow to Succeed in Business without Really TryingCamelot,Peter PanCabaretOliverAnnieThe Sound of MusicThe Music Man, and La Cage aux Folles. Chair since 1999, her directing credits at URI include The WizAssassinsPippinA Chorus LineCinderellaInto the WoodsBeauty and the BeastUrinetownThe Best Little Whorehouse in TexasLittle WomenOklahoma, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Paula hails from Peoria, Illinois and she received her Master’s from Illinois State University and her A.B.D. from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
