Textile Marketing

Overview

The B.S. in Textile Marketing is based on a unique combination of courses in Textiles/Fashion and in Marketing. You’ll learn about market research, product development and sales functions of companies producing fibers, yarns, fabrics and apparel, and for interiors and industrial customers. You will also be equipped to succeed in small business management and ownership. This degree is offered in conjunction with URI’s College of Business Administration, which is AACSB accredited. The Textile Marketing program is the only such accredited program in the United States.

To transfer out of UC, Freshmen must have 27 credits, a 3.0 GPA overall, and a 3.0 GPA in CSC101 and MTH131.  Sophomores must have a 2.4 GPA in BUS201, CSC101, MTH131, STA308, and ECN201.
