University of Rhode Island seniors Naomi Pajarillo and Avery McNamara are part of MARC U*STAR, a new program designed to boost access to scientific research careers among under-represented populations. Pajarillo is currently a undergraduate research grant recipient and has also presented her work at the Showcase of Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Work.
