Rachel is a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island. She conducts research in the field of human trafficking and was recently published in SAGE Open, a peer-reviewed, academic journal. Rachel thoroughly enjoys being around dogs, going to the beach, taking on new adventures and traveling the world. Rachel has a passion for social justice and human rights. Her personal and professional mission is to ensure that everyone feels safe and comfortable in their campus environment. Rachel supervises the P.L.E.A.S.E Program, a group of amazing students who facilitate educational programs/workshops to the URI community regarding interpersonal violence and bystander intervention. Rachel also provides trauma-informed advocacy services to individuals who have been impacted by interpersonal violence.
