How to change your Forum Member Post
An empty Member Post will be created for you if you send an email request to Ruth Platner. After it is created, you can add contact information, a picture of yourself, biographical information, etc.
Find your Member Post by visiting http://web.uri.edu/wpusers/wordpress-community/
Click on your name. If you are logged in, you should be able to edit this post as it is owned by you.
Upload an image of yourself and make it the featured image and then insert into post too. The images are being displayed at http://web.uri.edu/wpusers/wordpress-community/ at 150 by 150 pixels. If your picture is bigger than this it will get cropped to 150 by 150. Images are not required, but they do help the information exchange. Please don’t upload images that are much larger than you need.
You can add any other information, such as your title, and the WordPress site(s) you work on. Is there information you wish you knew about other members of the forum? That is the kind of information you should add about yourself. We need to work together and help each other to make our websites better and part of that is getting to know each other.
Don’t forget to update so your changes are saved.
You can return to your profile post anytime to make changes or replace your picture.
If at any time you don’t want your name in the list of WordPress Users, you can make your name and information private, by selecting “Private” under visibility when editing your profile post. Be sure to update the post so your visibility change is saved.
