Caitlin R. Kiernan

Caitlin R. Kiernan is the author of thirteen novels, including The Drowning Girl: A Memoir, which received both the Bram Stoker and James Tiptree, Jr. awards, as well as nominations for the Locus, Mythopoeic, British Fantasy, World Fantasy, Nebula and Shirley Jackson awards. She’s received two World Fantasy Awards for her short fiction, which has been collected in such volumes as Tales of Pain and Wonder, A is for Alien, Confessions of a Five-Chambered Heart and The Apes Wife and Other Stories. In the 1990s, she scripted comics for DC/Vertigo and has recently returned to that field with her Bram Stoker Award-winning graphic novel series, Alabaster. She lives and works in Providence, Rhode Island.
