Join our listserv by following the instructions below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>URI 4-H uses Google Groups as its listserv, which does require you to have a Google account to join. If you have a Gmail account, you already have a Google account. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<section class=\"cl-wrapper cl-tabs-wrapper\"><div class=\"cl-tabs  \">\n<section class=\"cl-tab \"><h1>Create A Google Account<\/h1>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/accounts.google.com\/signin\">Google Account sign in page<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Create account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the drop down, select if this account is for: Personal use; Child; Business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your name. You\u2019ll be asked to add your birthday and gender.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter a username.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter and confirm your password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Next.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is a Gmail account the same as a Google Account?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your Gmail and Google Accounts are separate. A Gmail account is one of several Google services you can use and save data with if you have a Google Account. Other services you can use with your Google Account include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>YouTube<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Google Drive<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Calendar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Google Play<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Use an existing email address<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You don&#8217;t need to have a Gmail address to create a Google Account. You can also use a non-Gmail email address to create one instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To use an existing email address instead of a new Gmail address:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/accounts.google.com\/signin\">Google Account Sign In page<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Create account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the drop down, select \u201cFor my personal use\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your basic info.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Use your email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter your current email address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Next.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Verify your email address with the code sent to your existing email.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"cl-tab \"><h1>Join the URI 4-H Google Group<\/h1>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sign in to <a href=\"https:\/\/groups.google.com\/\">Google Groups<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for the group \u201c<strong>URI 4-H<\/strong>\u201d and press Enter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li id=\"joingroup\">Click the group and Join group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For Subscription, select how to get email updates from the group.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<\/section>\n<\/div><\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Make sure you hear about the latest 4-H news and upcoming events!
