You do not have to own an animal to exhibit at a 4-H fair, however you must submit a management form to the 4-H Office.  Or join the 4-H Friends Animal Mentor Program.<\/p>\n

BEEF –  Feb 1st for Steers, May 15 for Heifers \u2013 RFID tags required for Big E
\nDAIRY – May 1 RFID tags required required for Big E
\nDOG – June 1
\nSWINE – June 1
\nGOAT – June 1 (6 mos. or older)
\nGOAT – July 1 (kids 0-6 months)
\nSHEEP – July 1<\/p>\n
