Recent graduate of URI&#8217;s Marine Biology undergraduate program.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Sarah<\/strong><br \/>\nI hope to one day be an Environmental Educator. I believe that education and public outreach are some of the most important things we can do to protect our oceans and give the public a greater understanding of marine life. Outside of school and work, you can usually find me somewhere on the water. I love to surf, sail, kayak, and SCUBA dive!<\/p>\n<p><\/p><\/article><\/div><\/section><\/p>\n<hr>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">What I\u2019m Doing Now<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">I just wrapped up an internship on Block Island, a tiny island 12 miles off the coast of Rhode Island, where I was a Marine Educator all summer. I am continuing my Masters degree, and will be a teaching assistant for BIO 103, an introductory biology lab this fall.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\">Favorite Thing About URI<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Being introduced to my best friends and learning so many new skills.
