Search<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bls.gov\/ooh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Occupational Outlook Handbook<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/whatcanidowiththismajor.com\/major\/majors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">What Can I do With This Major?<\/a> Connects majors to careers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Other research suggestions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learn about <a href=\"http:\/\/web.uri.edu\/career\/career-resources-by-major\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Interest Clusters and associated careers<\/a> through URI&#8217;s Center for Career and Experiential Education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Consult with a friend or professional in the career you&#8217;re considering and ask questions or shadow them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sit in on or take a class for the major(s) you&#8217;re most interested in, to test the waters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enroll in <strong>UCS 270: Academic and Career Decisions<\/strong>, a seminar that uses self-assessment to help you identify aptitudes, values, and interests as they relate to majors and careers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Declare Your Major<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve decided on a major, make an appointment with the advisor for that major to start the process of declaring.
