Prep TODO List:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. To get ready to register, please\u00a0check\u00a0your\u00a0unofficial transcript in eCampus to make sure any\/all credits from high school are posted. If not, get the official scores or college transcripts sent to URI.<\/li>
  2. How do I even know when I can register? Appointment times are on your dashboard in eCampus.\u00a0Your\u00a0time is on the right side under the to-do list and\u00a0holds.<\/li>
  3. Please\u00a0check\u00a0your\u00a0hold\/to-do lists on eCampus. Click on details to resolve BEFORE your registration time. Some of you have an advisor hold, thus you need to make an appointment to see\u00a0your\u00a0advisor unless your URI101 instructor or college is doing a group session and removing your advisor hold.<\/li>
  4. How do I make an appointment with my advisor?\u00a0 Through “Starfish.” Here is a how-to:\u00a0web.uri.edu\/advising\/advising-resources\/make-an-advising-appointment\/<\/a>\u00a0 When you log in to Starfish you will see\u00a0your\u00a0major and advisor options to make an appointment. OR – you can change\u00a0your\u00a0major and see the new advisor to officially declare and discuss Spring courses!<\/li>

    1. Visit https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/advising\/advising-by-major\/<\/a><\/li>\n
    2. Click on the major<\/li>\n
    3. Scroll down to \u201cCurriculum Sheets\u201d and click on the sheet that matches the year the student started at URI<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Add Classes<\/h1><\/p>\n

      Drop Classes<\/h1><\/p>\n

      Students should NEVER drop a course before meeting with their academic advisor.<\/h1>

      <\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Dropping courses does not ensure that you can pick up another.<\/li>\n
      2. Dropping courses can prevent graduating on time.<\/li>\n
      3. Dropping courses may also affect Financial Aid or any scholarship and Grants.<\/li>\n
      4. If full-time, one must have 12 credits or more, nothing less.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. Click enroll (found to the left of your current course schedule on your ecampus home page).<\/li>\n
        2. Click Drop on the top left next to Add<\/li>\n
        3. Select the class you would like to drop by check marking it<\/li>\n
        4. Hit \u201c Drop Selected Classes\u201d<\/li>\n
        5. Click \u201cFinish Dropping\u201d on the bottom right.<\/li>\n
        6. After that you should see a green check mark to indicate that you have successfully dropped that course. And you\u2019re all set ! <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Plug in\/Use a Permission #<\/h1><\/p>\n
            \n
          1. Click enroll (found to the left of your current course schedule on your ecampus home page).<\/li>\n
          2. Click Search (below where it says Enter)
            Search for the Subject and type in the course number for the class you are trying to join.<\/li>\n
          3. Unclick where it says \u201cShow Open Classes Only\u201d<\/li>\n
          4. Click Search (All the way at the bottom)<\/li>\n
          5. Look for the right course you\u2019re trying to join and double check it the correct session number is in the left  and professor who provided the permission code ( it\u2019s okay if the course is closed and it has a blue square, remember you have a permission number)<\/li>\n
          6. Click Select<\/li>\n
          7. Where it says Permission Nbr type the code the professor provided you with through email or via person.<\/li>\n
          8. Click Next<\/li>\n
          9. Now it should be added to your cart, below it should say Proceed to step 2 of 3, click that.<\/li>\n
          10. Click Finish Enrolling and you should be all set !!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            Find a Gen Ed<\/h1><\/p>\n

            Enrolling in a Gen Ed:<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \n
            1. Click enroll ( found to the left of your current course schedule on your ecampus home page).<\/li>\n
            2. Bubble in the term fall 2021<\/li>\n
            3. In the box titled shopping cart, click search<\/li>\n
            4. Scroll down to the last filter titled course outcome.<\/li>\n
            5. Highlight the outcome you are searching (A4 for example)<\/li>\n
            6. Click search.<\/li>\n
            7. The system may ask you if you wish to view over 50 courses \u2013 Yes, we love options! Click ok.<\/li>\n
            8. All the A4 courses will come up and you can choose any course on that list that you\u2019d like. Please feel most welcome to ask my opinion on any course you feel you may need more information on!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              Track Progress Toward Your Degree<\/h2>

              Within e-Campus, students can track progress toward a degree including previewing a \u201cwhat if\u201d scenario for a change of major. Advisors also have access to this report.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
