Biography

Shania Moretti is the Assistant Coordinator for the STEM & BUS Tutoring program at the Academic Enhancement Center, and she aids in helping support and prepare tutors as they provide tutoring services to URI students.

Shania is a graduate of URI’s School of Education and she specialized in general science and biology for both middle and high school students. She has been working in education since 2021 as a middle school science teacher and is excited to transition into higher education and work with college-aged students. Shania is very passionate about creating a safe space for all students to learn effectively and is dedicated to supporting students’ academic and social-emotional needs.
