The program offers a wide range of courses that explore the history, culture, politics, and economics of people of African origin, particularly those who live in the United States, Africa, the Caribbean, Central and South America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students majoring in Africana Studies often choose to double major in diverse fields&nbsp;including&nbsp;political science, journalism, education, business, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Careers<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to work&nbsp;in the public or private sector of the broader global community, a major in Africana Studies&nbsp;offers a great benefit.
