What makes the College of Arts and Sciences at URI unique?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A. The College of Arts and Sciences at URI is unique because it provided me with the opportunity to explore my interest within, as well as, outside the Mathematics Department; and helped me find what actually fascinates me. This college allowed me to broaden my creative side as well as my technical side by offering a wide range of programs. In addition to giving me the opportunity to understand the wider-world and my place in it, this college is filled with great professors who supported and guided me every step of the way.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What accomplishments and\/or activities at URI are you most proud of now?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Looking back at the years I spent at URI, the accomplishment that I am most proud of is being recognized for the success I have achieved in Mathematics by being awarded Pi Mu Epsilon, National Honorary Mathematics Society. I\u2019m also very proud to be a part of the Mathematics Department as it allowed me to work closely with different professors and cultivate great connections with them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do you value about your liberal arts education?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a Lebanese immigrant, my liberal arts education allowed me to gain a broader perspective as I was exposed to a wide variety of different focuses and diverse groups of people.
