She analyzed how economic theories about these connections have changed over time, and how economic theory of these connections compares to political science and sociological analyses of these dynamics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Faculty mentor<br \/>\n<\/strong>Nina Eichacker, Assistant Professor of Economics<\/p>\n<hr>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I\u2019ve always wanted to learn more about how corporations and economic\/political corruption work to maintain the power of major corporations and the wealthy. I think it is crucial to understand those concepts in the era of severe income inequality that we are currently living through.
