What makes the College of Arts and Sciences at URI unique?<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px;font-weight: 400\">The College of Arts and Sciences is unique because of the opportunities available to learn from and work with professionals in your field.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px\">What accomplishments and\/or activities at URI are you most proud of now?<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px;font-weight: 400\">I am most proud of getting to perform in URI Theatre\u2019s production of&nbsp;<\/span><em style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px;font-weight: 400\">Miss Nelson is Missing!&nbsp;<\/em><span style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px;font-weight: 400\">because we were able to stream to several hundred elementary students across Rhode Island. It was great to offer them educational entertainment during a hard time, especially for young children.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px\">What do you value about your liberal arts education?<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px;font-weight: 400\">I value how well rounded my liberal arts education has been, allowing me to explore interests outside my chosen field and interact with fellow students from diverse perspectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What have been some highlights of your time in the Theatre department? What led you to specialize in acting?<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px;font-weight: 400\">I would definitely consider each show I\u2019ve performed in with the Theatre department a highlight in their own right, as well as working in the box office all 4 years I\u2019ve been here. I\u2019ve made some of the strongest personal connections in this department, as well as meeting professional collaborators. I specialized in acting because I fell in love with it in high school, and when I saw&nbsp;<\/span><em style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px;font-weight: 400\">Mary Poppins&nbsp;<\/em><span style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px;font-weight: 400\">here at URI I knew I wanted to be a part of this magic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What&#8217;s next for you?<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px;font-weight: 400\">What\u2019s next for me is hitting the ground running!
