To prepare for such a data-heavy endeavor, preparatory research and question information are essential for effective results. In turn, connections with influential individuals in the Rhode Island political scene became a key component in this research.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Faculty Mentor:<\/strong><br \/>\nEmily Lynch, teaching professor of political science<\/p>\n<hr>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Going forward, I am confident that I can excel in my courses at URI given what I have learned through this fellowship, especially in terms of research.
