Students in grades 3 through 7 are eligible to participate in the Computer Science camp, and high school students are eligible for Quantum Computing and AI summer camp.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b style=\"font-family: Charter, Georgia, serif;font-size: 20px\">Computer Science Summer Camp<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-size: 20px;font-weight: 400\">June 23 marks the start of the annual Computer Science summer camp, which will take place in Tyler Hall from Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The camp is structured as a multi-week experience, offering a week at $425 or $400\/week for two or more weeks of enrollment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-17739  alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/artsci\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1132\/CSCamp.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"469\" height=\"495\">The camp offers week-long programs for elementary to middle school-aged children, including learning coding languages such as Python, Java, and Arduino, launching a website, building robotics, creating apps, and more. The three day camp is free for high school students, and limited spots are available. It is designed for students who are curious about cutting-edge technology and will learn about quantum concepts, AI fundamentals, hands-on coding, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-17731  alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/artsci\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1132\/ComputerScienceCap.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"436\" height=\"461\">Participants will have the unique opportunity to work closely with URI faculty on fun, collaborative projects, build a resume, and spark the beginning of their college journey.
