Paige mined articles published between 2011 and 2017 in ten leading peer-reviewed economics journals to determine the frequency and use of different types of primary data. She then compared the types of primary data that articles published in mainstream journals utilize, vis-\u00e0-vis heterodox journals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Faculty Mentor<\/strong><br \/>\nDr. Smita Ramnarain, Assistant Professor of Economics<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe fellowship was a valuable experience for me to see how data is collected, the methodology behind all of the variables I looked at, and just how large data sets are!
