Using different types of swabbing methods, he tested for the most effective way to swab trace amounts of energetic materials. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Faculty Mentor<\/strong><br \/>\nDr. Jimmie Oxley, Professor of Chemistry and co-director of URI\u2019s Center of Excellence in Explosives Detection, Mitigation, and Response<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cDuring the 10 weeks of the fellowship, I gained experience analyzing energetic material.
