Mission<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The mission of the Academic Testing Center is to advance teaching and learning outcomes by offering professional proctoring services that promote honesty, integrity, and equity while providing accessible and inclusive learning assessment opportunities for students, faculty, and academic departments at the University of Rhode Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Academic Testing Center achieves this mission by adhering to the Professional Standards and Guidelines of the National College Testing Association<\/a> (PDF) and maintaining testing center certification with the NCTA.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

News You Can Use<\/h1>\n\n

The Academic Testing Center is offering exam sessions at sunrise and sunset for fasting students taking exams from Feb 17th through March 13th.
Faculty – just submit exams requests through the existing ATC process and simply indicate the Ramadan – Extended Hours<\/em> group on the selection menu. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ATC consultations for colleges, departments, and faculty are available either online or in-person. Please contact Associate Director, Lisa Macaruso<\/a>, to schedule a time and also visit the updated ATL Consultations webpage f<\/a>or program offerings and training. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
