The Academic Testing Center is now a certified testing site for the College Level Examination Program (CLEP)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This on-campus testing service is being offered exclusively to URI students<\/em><\/strong>.<\/em> Follow the steps below to plan for your assessment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

URI\u2019s CLEP Steps<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Connect with Zak Pereira<\/a>, Coordinator for Credit for Prior Learning and Career Advancement. A completed CLEP Prior Approval Form <\/a>is required to advance to Step 2.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong>  <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Register for your URI approved CLEP exam through the College Board<\/a> and choose CLEP03919 – University of Rhode Island<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3:<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Email the Academic Testing Center at academictesting@etal.uri.edu<\/a> to schedule an appointment! Please attach your CLEP registration ticket. We will contact you to discuss available times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4:<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Take your CLEP exam with us! Arrive at the ATC 15 minutes before your scheduled time with your Registration Ticket and your URI ID card. Additional information about the ATC, including our policies<\/a> and our commitment to academic integrity<\/a>, can be found at uri.edu\/atc<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5:<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Follow-up with Zak Pereira<\/a>, Coordinator, Credit for Prior Learning and Career Advancement to review your CLEP scores and have your credits evaluated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
