Biography

Jenn McWeeney joined the University of Rhode Island in 2020 after working in healthcare management for 20 years, where she was a recognized leader in her field presenting “best practices” at various national conferences.  Jenn managed a large call center at the Rhode Island Blood Center as well as held management positions at the Be the Match Registry/National Marrow Donor Program, hospitals, home care and continuing medical education organizations. Jenn also worked at various call centers in other industries besides healthcare.

Jenn has now brought her extensive management and leadership experience to the Student Contact Support Center at URI Online where she liaises with Program Directors and various operational departments to ensure that Student Support and Recruitment Representatives have the tools necessary to support URI Online students from their initial point of inquiry to graduation. As a URI alumnus herself, Jenn is eager to expand opportunities for more students to share in the Rhody experience.
