Designing for learning involves the intentional process of planning programs, courses, and assignments to provide meaningful learning experiences to students and align with learning goals. Instructional design, backwards design, and understanding by design are among the approaches used for this process and for which we are able to provide guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Syllabus Design<\/h2>

Assignment Design<\/h2>

Assignments fill many roles – engaging students with course concepts, providing insight into student learning, contributing to program assessment. They also are significant course activities.
