ATL has a series of short sessions that are packed with tips you can use in the classroom right away. These sessions are perfect for those who are feeling time-crunched. Adult Learning Strategies for Today\u2019s College Classroom: February 4 & 5<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

How can you design learning experiences that effectively support young college students on their path to becoming self-directed adult learners? In this interactive one-hour workshop, participants will explore the key principles of adult learning and discover clear, practical strategies for supporting students\u2019 growing autonomy, motivation, and responsibility. You\u2019ll leave with adaptable tools and activities you can use immediately to foster more engaged, self-directed learners in any discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blended Teaching Toolkit: February 10 & 11<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In this workshop we will explore strategies to seamlessly integrate face-to-face and online instruction, while enhancing student engagement and assessment in blended learning environments<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faculty Tools to Support Students: February 24<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Join us for a conversation about URI software and tools for instructors to use in support of student success (Starfish, eCampus, Report It).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Help Me! I’m Teaching in a New Modality Next Fall: April 8 & 9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In this workshop we will explore URI’s options for teaching modalities, including best practices and strategies to enhance student engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
