{"id":7209,"date":"2021-03-16T14:36:35","date_gmt":"2021-03-16T18:36:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/atl-draft\/?p=7209"},"modified":"2023-08-01T21:00:52","modified_gmt":"2023-08-02T01:00:52","slug":"inclusive-teaching-and-learning-institute","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/atl\/inclusive-teaching-and-learning-institute\/","title":{"rendered":"Inclusive Teaching and Learning Institute (ITALI)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The STEM Education URI (SURI) initiative and ATL team supported faculty designing yearlong projects to implement and evaluate the use of evidence-based teaching methods that foster inclusive learning environments and promote student success in meeting learning outcomes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In August 2019, ATL hosted a two-day Inclusive Teaching And Learning Institute (ITALI) during which participants (known as ITALI Fellows) designed their project.
