Graduate Certificate in Fashion Merchandising

Curriculum

To earn the graduate certificate in Fashion Merchandising, you must complete a minimum of four courses: TMD 532 and 9-12 credits of 400-level courses with an average grade of B (overall 3.00 GPA) or above. A maximum of three credits of approved graduate-level coursework from another institution will be accepted for transfer credit.

Required:

TMD 532 Current Issues in Fashion Retailing 

Choose 9-12 credits from the following:
 
  • TMD 424 Fashion Theory and Analysis
  • TMD 432 Fashion Retail Supply Chain Management
  • TMD 433 Textile Markets
  • TMD 434 Branding in the Fashion Industry
  • TMD 442 Fashion Promotion
  • TMD 458  Fashion Retail Analysis

Students enrolled in the Master’s Program may apply the 12 credits (400-level) toward their Master’s degree subsequent to their completion of this certificate.

Prerequisites

For applicants who do not have adequate preparation in their undergraduate curriculum, the textile science course and lab are required.
