Graduate certificates provide an invaluable opportunity to deepen your skills within a given topical area and are valued by employers and graduate schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If accepted, you will earn credits toward the certificate while you complete undergraduate requirements (certificate credits cannot count toward the undergraduate degree).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To earn the certificate, you must enroll for at least one semester after completing your undergraduate degree.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Achievement of a graduate certificate during the summer after graduation may allow interested students accepted into the MS program to complete their MS in approximately one additional year of study.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Graduate Certificate Requirements<\/strong><br>Applicants with undergraduate majors in any field are considered for admission. You must submit a statement of purpose; two official transcripts of all academic work; two letters of recommendation; a writing sample; and a r\u00e9sum\u00e9 of professional experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To earn a graduate certificate in human resources, students must satisfactorily complete four of the following courses: LHR 432, 500, 503, 521, 531, 532, 533, 542, 551, 573, and MBA 502, 540, 577, 578 or other courses approved by the program director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To earn a graduate certificate in labor relations, you must satisfactorily complete four of the following courses: LHR 432, 500, 503, 521, 531, 532, 542, 544, 545, 546, and 551 or other courses approved by the program director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To receive certificates in both HR and LR, you may only use one course to count for both programs.
