Applicants with a bachelor\u2019s degree from any accredited college or university, and a minimum 3.00 GPA may apply for admission to the URI M.B.A. @ PFIZER. Those who do not have the minimum GPA may be required to submit scores from the GMAT or GRE.<\/p>\n\n\n<a class=\"cl-button  block-level prominent\" href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/graduate-school\/apply\/\" title=\"\">apply today<\/a>\n\n\n<p>The application will be completed partially&nbsp;online&nbsp;(BusinessCAS). The online portion of the application includes submission of the following items:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Brief statement of purpose (please state in essay that you are applying to The URI M.B.A. @ PFIZER)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biographical information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Application fee (paid online)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A letter of recommendation from your supervisor completed online \u2013 you will list their name\/email and they will get an email directly from URI. URI asks for a second letter so please put NA for the second one and use your home email (or whichever email is not listed as your main contact email in the application).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Current resume \u2013 upload to system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload unofficial college transcripts from all institutions attended&nbsp;.&nbsp;International applicants must show equivalency to a U.S. bachelor\u2019s degree by an evaluation from WES or other translation company.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/graduate-school\/admission\/international\/\">Learn more about applying as an international student<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If accepted, please contact each institution and have them send the official transcript directly, either electronically or a paper version via the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Official electronic transcripts may be sent via Credentials Solutions, Parchment, and National Student Clearinghouse. Please be sure to designate the URI Graduate School so that we may receive the transcripts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Official paper transcripts should be sent to the mailing address below. Foreign, non-evaluated official transcripts must be in English, or translated by a certified translator, and sent in a sealed envelope directly from the original institution or translator to:\u00a0<br>\u00a0 \u00a0<em>ATTN: Admission Office<br>\u00a0 \u00a0URI Graduate School<br>\u00a0 \u00a055 Lower College Road, 204 Quinn Hall<br>\u00a0 \u00a0Kingston, RI 02881<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants who graduated from URI do not need to send&nbsp;in the&nbsp;URI&nbsp;official transcript but do still need to upload the unofficial copy.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For RI Residents Only &#8211; RI Residency Application&nbsp;or Certificate of Residency for RI residents or qualified regional applicants. The form will need to be emailed as a pdf to the URI Graduate School at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:urigrad@etal.uri.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">urigrad@etal.uri.edu<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/graduate-school\/admission\/residency-guidelines\/\">Read the RI residency guidelines.<\/a> Although the tuition for this program is not dependent on residency, if you take a class in Kingston the tuition charged will be based on your residency at the time of application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If English is not your native language, you\u2019ll need to submit&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/toefl.org\/\">TOEFL<\/a>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/ielts.org\/\">IELTS<\/a>&nbsp;scores (taken within the last two years). A minimum score of 91 for TOEFL under the new IBT-Internet Based Test or 575 under the paper-based testing, and a minimum score of 6.5 on the IELTS is required. The URI Designated Institution Code for TOEFL is 3919.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<section class=\"cl-wrapper cl-boxout-wrapper\"><div class=\"cl-boxout  \">\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transfer Credits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>URI allows transfer credits from AACSB accredited M.B.A. programs. If you believe you can transfer a course, please contact Lisa Lancellotta before the start of the program to review your transcript.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tuition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The tuition is $2,000 per class. You will be required to purchase the books yourself for each class. The book list will be given to you well in advance of the start of the<br>class. If you are eligible for Pfizer educational reimbursement with this program, be sure to follow Pfizer requirements from EdAssist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Facility Access<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will have full access to URI services and facilities at the Kingston and Narragansett campuses. While it is not necessary to visit the campuses, the close proximity to Kingston is an added benefit for those wishing to use the facilities and services. Facilities include the campus library (which is also online), computing center, student ID, tutors, counselors and cultural events. If you are unable to take a course&nbsp; during the rotation, you can take the evening class with our traditional evening M.B.A. students, subject to URI tuition and fees.
