The winners are selected by the faculty and approved by the deans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accounting Area Awards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Excellence in Accounting Award honors outstanding finance students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dean\u2019s Excellence Award: M.S. in Accounting<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accounting Area Academic Excellence Awards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Richard Vangermeersch Outstanding Junior Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University Academic Excellence Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Higgins Family Scholarship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lois Pazienza Graduate Student Accounting Scholarship Award<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finance Area Awards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Excellence in Finance Award honors outstanding finance students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership, and social responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Presidential Award recipient for Global Business<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellence in Finance Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellence in Service Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ram Fund Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student Athlete Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University Academic Excellence Award<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Marketing\/Advertising Awards<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dean\u2019s Excellence Award<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mike Rohrer Memorial Award for Outstanding Scholarship in the Study of Advertising\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Honors a former student and is given to a current marketing student who demonstrates the qualities of enthusiasm, hard work and a positive attitude.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Richard R. Weeks Award for Outstanding Junior\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>The Richard Weeks, a former dean of the College, Award is given to an outstanding junior marketing student each year. The award is based, on overall cumulative grade point average as well as recommendations by faculty members.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Greg J.
