{"id":26444,"date":"2022-07-22T11:40:37","date_gmt":"2022-07-22T15:40:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/campusrec\/?page_id=26444"},"modified":"2025-03-25T14:27:35","modified_gmt":"2025-03-25T18:27:35","slug":"memberships-policies","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/campusrec\/memberships-policies\/","title":{"rendered":"Memberships Policies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>This page will be updated shortly.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Memberships:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Facility Access:<\/strong>&nbsp;To ensure that only eligible individuals are using Campus Recreation facilities, each participant is required to hand their valid URI ID or membership pass upon each entrance.&nbsp;<em><strong>Individuals will not be allowed to enter the facility without a valid photo ID.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Memberships are sold per individual and are not transferable<\/li>\n<li>All membership sales require a valid&nbsp; photo ID and must be 18 years of age for Rec Membership.&nbsp; Individuals that are 12 years of age may purchase an Individual TAC membership<\/li>\n<li>Individuals must sign all applicable waivers to obtain Rec Community membership(s), services, and\/or participate in any programming<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Purchasing a Facility Membership<\/h3>\n<p>URI Employees\/Affiliates MUST present a current URI picture I.D. card at the time of registration. A&nbsp;partner\/dependent must be accompanied by the sponsoring person or bring the sponsoring person\u2019s University identification. All patrons other than URI Students and paying guests will be issued a&nbsp;Campus Recreation&nbsp;photo identification&nbsp;pass at the time of their registration and fee payment.<\/p>\n<h3>Membership Discounts and Benefits<\/h3>\n<p>Learn to Swim&nbsp;member rates will only be provided to Family TAC Members. Members will also receive priority registration for aquatic programs (on-line and in person). &nbsp;URI Students\/Individual Members receive discounts for certification classes&nbsp;(first-aid, CPR, AED instructional classes) and Aquatic Fitness Activities.
