No prolonged underwater swimming for time or distance.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Only U.S. Coast Guard approved personal flotation devices (PFD) are allowed in the TAC pools.<\/li>\n<li>Animals, including those on leash, are prohibited within the facility. Exception: ADA Service Animals.<\/li>\n<li>Any person with an infectious and\/or communicable disease is prohibited from utilizing the swimming pools, including persons with open lesions, blisters and\/or cuts or rashes.<\/li>\n<li>Any person who currently has or has had diarrhea within the prior two weeks is prohibited from using the Tootell Aquatic Center.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Spitting, spouting water or blowing of the nose is not allowed in the pools, gutters or on the deck.<\/li>\n<li>All individuals not in control of bodily functions must wear plastic pants or swim diapers designed specifically for pool use.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Pool personnel reserve the right to assign any swimmer(s) to a lane(s) or pool according to space availability.<\/li>\n<li>Only Campus Recreation authorized personnel are allowed to provide lessons or coaching at TAC. Any participant observed or assumed to be providing lessons with a patron in the facility, is subject to being removed from the facility and suspension privileges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Diving Boards and Diving Well Policies<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Patrons must be able to swim 15 yards unassisted in deep water to use the diving well.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>PFDs are not permitted in the diving well.<\/li>\n<li>Only one diver at a time is permitted on a diving board.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Dive or jump straight ahead using only one bounce.<\/li>\n<li>Divers using the boards are not permitted to wear a flotation device, googles or masks.<\/li>\n<li>The diving board fulcrums are preset and may not be adjusted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Youth\/Minor Swim Policies<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Inflatables (such as water-wings; Styrofoam bubbles or floats sewn into bathing suits) are not permitted.<\/li>\n<li>Children 4 years and under:&nbsp;parent\/guardian must be in the water on a one-to-one basis. Children using approved floatation devices must be supervised by an adult within one arms distance from the child.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Children 5 years and under must be accompanied in the water by a parent or guardian.<\/li>\n<li>Children 6 years and older must use the locker room appropriate to their gender or use the Family Changing Room with an adult.<\/li>\n<li>Children under 7 years of age must be supervised on the deck or in the pool(s) by a parent or guardian who must be suited to swim.<\/li>\n<li>Parents\/guardians of children under 12 years of age must remain on the pool deck\/spectator area while children are swimming.<\/li>\n<li>Children under 12 years of age:&nbsp;parent\/guardian must remain in the spectator area,&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Children under 7 years of age:&nbsp;parent or guardian must be suited to swim and on the pool deck.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Policies Facility Policies &#8211; Tootell Aquatics Complex Accessing pool without lifeguard on duty is prohibited.
