Education

URI! I’m a RAM through and through. I earned a Bachelors degree in Marine Affairs, a Master’s in College Student Personnel, and a Doctorate in Education at URI.

Career Journey

I grew up in Western Massachusetts and after attending URI as an out of state student, I feel in love with RI so I moved here. During my undergraduate years I did an internship on the URI bay campus. I was involved on campus as a tour guide for a part time job and that experienced shaped my desire to work professionally with students. My first professional job after college was as an admissions advisor at URI. I loved it. My career evolved to working in University College to support students finding internships and career opportunities. As a first generation college student I am so passionate about helping students find the right major and career. I’m privileged to be here to connect students with opportunities they have been dreaming about attaining.

When not supporting career and experiential education at URI, you will find me: I love making the most of the ocean state. If I’m not on campus I’m paddle-boarding or boating in the summer, I’m hiking with my labradoodle Lucy in the woods in the fall, I’m snowshoeing in the winter, I’m gardening in the spring, and I’m baking all year round for my beautiful family!

What Strength, Value, or Personality trait do you identify with most and why? I call myself, “Captain Arranger” and it is my superpower that I identify with the most. My mind is always racing to find the best way to create efficiency and productivity in my work and my life.
