Career Journey

I’ve had an extensive research career including an AmeriCorps position in Indian Head, Maryland studying the effects of a military ordnance base on wildlife populations, many years working on tickborne disease prevention education right here in Rhode Island and even some time on the UMass Boston-Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center Partnership which aims to close the cancer health disparities gap. Now, as an Experiential Education Coordinator in the College of Pharmacy, I have the opportunity to support students as they make connections between what they have learned in the classroom and what they are actively doing on their internships.

When not supporting career and experiential education at URI, you will find me: Reading, taking road trips, hiking, gardening (my tomatoes are amazing!), and chasing after my two fantastic kids.
