The URI Office of the General Counsel (OGC) is responsible for the coordination and management of all legal issues affecting the University including agreements and MOU&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you receive an agreement for a student internship or field experience site that requires a signature from URI, do not sign.<\/li>\n<li>Review the OGC website including the <a href=\"https:\/\/web.uri.edu\/general-counsel\/contract-review-protocol\/\">Contract Review Protocol<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Contact URI General Counsel at 874-4486 or <a href=\"mailto:ogc-service-request-group@uri.edu\">ogc-service-request-group@uri.edu<\/a> with questions regarding agreements and contracts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p><\/div><\/section><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<section class=\"cl-wrapper cl-boxout-wrapper\"><div class=\"cl-boxout fullwidth \"><h1>Insurance &amp; Risk Management<\/h1><p><a href=\"\/\/web.uri.edu\/riskmanagement\/\u201d\"><strong>URI Office of Risk Control and Management<\/strong><\/a> has complied all the necessary forms and procedures needed to ensure the safety and protection of the University community.
