By completing the ITR Internship Program, you can focus on your internship and also gain credit at the same time.

There are differences between ITR during the Fall/Spring semesters and the Summer semester(s), which we outline below.

The first is the amount of credits and hours for ITR 302, field experience (hours at internship). Summer is 10 weeks which results in the average hours per week being more. See below for a full list of hours.

All students will enroll in 2 separate sets of credit: ITR 302 (field experience) and ITR 304 (online seminar). Students are required to complete both sets of credit in the same semester.

ITR Internship credit is just like any other class credit. When enrolling in ITR credits, students should keep in mind the other credits they will enroll in to not exceed the maximum amount of credits for the semester (16 across all sessions during the Summer semester).

ITR 302

Field experience credit (the hours you’re working at the internship).
