CELS Ambassadors assist with providing CELS information meetings for prospective students, connect with CELS first-year students, and represent their majors at University recruitment events. By serving as an Ambassador, you are giving back to the CELS community while gaining valuable experience for the future. CELS Peer Mentors assist with connecting their students with campus resources, showcasing campus involvement opportunities, and most importantly serve as a supporter in your transition to URI and CELS! Applications to become a CELS Peer Mentee are open during summer orientation. Our long-term aim is for students to succeed academically, professionally, and socially by providing a physical and social space within which they can develop a sense of community, as well as leadership and team building skills both at URI and in their next phase of life.
