UCS 160: Success in Higher Education – our one-credit course on academic skills and strategies – to run during the Winter J Term.
The course is open to any undergraduate student in any year who seeks to better understand how they learn and what approaches to studying are most productive for learning. Class activities in the J Term section will focus specifically on helping students critically assess the approaches that they have been using (e.g., in studying, planning and managing time and work), and to strategize specific changes to implement in spring.
