The Office of Strategic Initiatives (OSI) provides innovative, comprehensive and current workforce educational programs and leadership acuity for business, education, and non-profit sectors. Services include a variety of customized trainings, program development, program evaluation, coaching, and contemporary strategies for personal development and economic stability.
The College of Education and Professional Studies is focused on creating a variety of partnerships that encourage community outreach and workforce development, enrich our academic programs, and provide you with opportunities for authentic hands-on learning.
To meet these goals, the Office of Strategic Initiatives, will continue and expand our many partnerships with educational and industry-related organizations. These partnerships allow us to give you a wide range of innovative professional development opportunities, both inside and outside of the classroom. One of the most noteworthy partnerships is the governor’s PREPARE RI DUAL ENROLLMENT FUND, which provides funding for every qualifying public school student to take courses from Rhode Island’s public post-secondary institutions as part of their high school requirements, at no cost to the student or family.
