Welcome to the Chang Coastal Lab!<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

We are a research group in the Department of Ocean Engineering<\/strong><\/a> at the University of Rhode Island. Our work focuses on coastal hydrodynamics and the physical processes governing interactions among waves, currents, sediments, and natural features in nearshore environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through laboratory experiments, numerical modeling, and field observations, we aim to improve our understanding of coastal processes and provide insights that support sustainable shoreline management and long-term resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
