There are two graduate programs strongly associated with the Department of Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Rhode Island. The first leads to a Masters (M.S.) or Ph.D. degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. The second is a three-year, part-time evening program based at the URI Providence campus leading to a M.S. degree in Medical Laboratory Science, which includes tracks in biotechnology, cytopathology, medical laboratory science, and public health.
