Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work to prevent, diagnose, and treat a variety of communication and swallowing disorders, and may be employed in schools, hospitals, and private clinics, as well as other settings. They often work collaboratively with other health care providers and educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Job opportunities in speech-language pathology continue to expand and speech-language pathology consistently appears in the <a href=\"http:\/\/money.usnews.com\/careers\/best-jobs\/speech-language-pathologist\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">&#8220;Best Jobs&#8221; rankings<\/a> by <em>U.S. News and World Report<\/em>.
