CBLS (Joseph and Ruby DeChristofaro Center for Biotechnology and Life Science)<\/h2>

321 Seat Auditorium, Open Multi-level Atriums, Classrooms\u00a0–

Joseph and Ruby DeChristofaro Center for Biotechnology and Life Science (CBLS) LEED-Gold building embodies URI\u2019s aspirations to create world-class, environmentally responsive facilities. The space was thoughtfully designed to bring in natural light and host large groups while maintaining a comfortable flow.\u00a0<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Edwards Auditorium<\/h2>

850-seat amphitheater –

One of URI\u2019s most iconic buildings, Edwards earned the Rhody award for historic preservation in 2012 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Edwards commonly hosts a wide variety of events including concerts, graduations, guest speakers, recitals, theatre performances, lectures and more.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

160 Seat Classroom Style Auditorium, Classrooms –

Constructed in 2012, LEED-silver, the University of Rhode Island College of Pharmacy is 144,000 square-feet over three interconnected buildings that supports leading-edge teaching, research and features a medicinal garden.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Memorial Union<\/h2>


300-capacity Ballroom, 40-capacity Boardroom, 150-capacity Atriums, unique spaces –\u00a0The heart of URI\u2019s campus, the mission of the Memorial Union is dedicated to promoting a supportive and vibrant campus environment for all members of the University of Rhode Island community. Memorial Union Ballroom is often used for dinners, keynotes, and conferences up to 300. Smaller rooms include the Atriums, Senate Chambers, Dance Studio.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Multi-purpose open space, classrooms for capacity up to 110 – The Fascitelli Center\u2019s Toray Commons can host up to 110 people, the open space features glass walls overlooking the Engineering Quadrangle and is often used for poster sessions or custom events. Classrooms at various capacities are also available.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Southern New England\u2019s premiere multi-purpose venue, offering a wide variety of configurations to accommodate any type of event. The event floor seating retracts to provide space suitable for family shows or trade conferences. A portable stage is available for concerts and performance events and the event floor itself can seat up to 500 for a banquet.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
