LBTQ+ Women’s Group<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A safe, confidential and welcoming support <\/span>for URI\u2019s Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans, Queer & Questioning women + non-binary students raised as girls. It includes the support of Clinical Counselors, Holly Nichols<\/a>, LMHC and Danielle Madden<\/a>, LCSW.

Gender and Sexuality Center<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Gender and Sexuality Center prides itself on providing education, engagement, and support for the URI campus community and beyond. Education programs allow the entire URI community explore concepts related to LGBTQ people and issues. Engagement programs provide an opportunity for people to meet and create meaningful relationships with each other. Finally, support programs give students, faculty, and staff a place and time to receive and offer the benefit of community support for whatever issues our community members encounter.

Sexuality and Gender Aliance (SAGA)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A group that meets weekly that offers support to members of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. We meet to discuss our two main events – Day of Silence and Coming Out Day, and we do fun crafts, while also trying to retain an informative and educational aspect, so that all of our members can leave feeling enriched and inspired.
