RE: Emergency Absence Notifications<\/h1>\n\n

The Dean of Students Office (including Student Support and Advocacy Services<\/em> and Disability, Access & Inclusion<\/em>) reminds our community that we do not provide emergency absence notifications<\/strong> when:

* The emergency or absence is fewer than three days<\/strong>,
* The student can communicate directly with faculty<\/strong>, or
* The student can access proof of absence or a medical appointment<\/strong> through their online portal.

Students are encouraged to contact their instructors directly whenever possible.
