Welcome to the Dining Services Food Distribution Center. This warehouse facility completed in 1992 houses grocery items for the resident student population at the University of Rhode Island. Our volume and storage capacity allows us to procure food products from many different producers at the very best price through our bid process. Our location at the corner of Flagg and Tootell roads allows us to limit the amount of trucks on campus attempting to make deliveries directly to the dining halls. Instead, food products are delivered to our service sector location in tractor trailers often times directly from the manufacturer and then redistributed buy our dining warehouse staff and driver. Our distribution center delivers food products, supplies, and mail multiple times a day to all dining facilities. While produce, beverages, and bread are delivered directly to our dining halls, all other items are delivered through our warehouse. The dining distribution center is the main hub of all of our on campus locations.  Below are the locations that the DDC supplies on a daily basis. 

Meet The Staff

Here at Dining services, we have a wide arrange of staff that help the operations run smoothly.  All of the administration staff is located in the Dining Distribution Center.  Along with the administration staff, the catering department is also located here.
