Remember to visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.uri.edu\/disability\">DAI\u2019s website <\/a>for information about our office, mission, and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Renewing Your Academic Accommodations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To begin the renewal process, please complete the DAI <strong>Academic Accommodations Renewal Request Form<\/strong>. This form allows you to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Request the same academic accommodations you used previously again this semester.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Let us know whether you are requesting changes to your accommodations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review and acknowledge DAI&#8217;s consent and release statements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update us on any changes related to your disability or medical condition since your last appointment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Your responses will help us review your information and determine the next steps in your renewal process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>After you submit the form:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If your renewal can be processed without additional discussion, your accommodation letters and a follow-up email with important dates and reminders will be sent to your URI email.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a brief check-in is needed, we may ask you to attend a virtual DAI drop-in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are requesting changes to your accommodations, or additional review is needed, we will contact you to schedule a meeting with a DAI Case Manager through Starfish Success Network. If possible, please submit any new or updated documentation before your appointment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Virtual DAI Drop-In Hours<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who need to connect with DAI for a renewal check-in or have questions about the renewal process may attend our virtual drop-in hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Virtual DAI Drop-In Room:<\/strong><strong><br \/><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/uri-edu.zoom.us\/my\/dai.dropins\">https:\/\/uri-edu.zoom.us\/my\/dai.dropins<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Drop-In Hours:<\/strong><strong><br \/><\/strong>Weekdays from 10:00 a.m.\u201312:00 p.m. from August 5 through October 2, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong> DAI drop-ins will NOT be available on August 10, August 20, or September 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note:<\/strong> Students enrolled in accelerated programs or programs with clinical, practicum, internship, or field placement components are required to meet with their DAI Case Manager before accommodations can be renewed, even if no changes are requested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for completing your renewal.
