Please note: Adobe Aero will be removed from Creative Cloud, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store on Nov. 6th, 2025 users must download the Adobe Aero application before that date<\/strong> if they wish to participate. The app will still continue to function (for those with the app downloaded) until Dec. 3 when it will be decommissioned.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are actively seeking participants to complete a brief survey about the project before it is decommissioned<\/a>. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of a collaboration between DWELL and STEEP<\/a>, this project developed an interactive augmented reality experience designed to educate the general public about PFAS. Using Adobe Aero, viewers are immersed in a virtual kitchen filled with everyday household items, such as cleaning products and groceries. Tapping on each item reveals informative posters that explain how these products may contain PFAS and suggest safer alternatives to reduce exposure. Available on both iOS and Android devices, this accessible tool aims to raise awareness about PFAS and promote healthier alternatives to products that have been shown to contain PFAS. This project was recognized with a 2025 Environmental Communications Award from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists<\/a> (AAEES).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
