Each referral is reviewed to determine the appropriate response. We may contact the referring party if we need more information regarding the student or the issue.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2 &#8211; Outreach<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Early Alert staff will either directly reach out to the student or do so through another campus office with a pre-existing relationship with that student. These offices can include: Athletics, Disability, Access and Inclusion, Student Support and Advocacy Services, Housing and Residential Life, and Talent Development.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 &#8211; Follow-up<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Early Alert will follow-up with student as needed, as well as with the referring party (when additional information is needed).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Step 1 \u2013 Review Alert After submitting an Alert, the referring party will receive an email acknowledging receipt.
